Charity Status Approved

Hello everyone, we are very excited to announce that after a few starts and stops, Journey Church has official been approved as a registered charity.  Thank you to our board and especially Ashley Burns who carried the heavy load of paper work and back and forth with the CRA to get the application completed and approved. We will have a 'Fireside Chat' with the church body at the end of January to go over the details of what this means, a few changes that come along with being a charity in regard to giving and use of funds, board funciton,etc.

But for practical purposes, this now means we can give tax reciepts for for tithes and offerings and other giving.  We hope this allows our body to be better steward the abundance God has given us to build the church, impact the community and advance the Kingdom of Heavan.
